Invitation to participate in hackathon

Discussion

KTU Design Centre invites students to participate in a two-day hackathon and contribute to the generation of innovative ideas. The aim of the Hack For Food, Hack For Good hackathon is to help children and their families and caregivers live better and eat healthier.

The hackathon will focus on the real challenges faced by children diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes: how can we help children with diabetes live healthier and happier lives? How can we promote healthy eating education and prevention through food?

Prize for the two winning teams: a two-month product development mentoring and prototyping internship with an international team of design experts in the new Olabas Design Lab at the M-LAB Centre.

Open to: students of all fields of study, in all years of study.

Date: 19-20 September, 9am – 4pm.
