Over time, textiles have become a universal means of communication, exchange and identity-making across eras, cultures, social classes, technologies, markets and genders. It brings people and objects together more than any other medium. The EuroWeb network aims to challenge the national and monodisciplinary approaches that have dominated our understanding of textiles. The EuroWeb network brings interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral research and training to new generations as members of an imaginative and innovative network.

Project results:
Initiate joint research projects. Publications, training, workshops and digital infrastructure will support the development of 50+ scientific articles and 30+ conference publications. It will bring together researchers from several humanities, social sciences, along with professionals from other fields to create an interdisciplinary outcome. Taking advantage of small but high-quality research environments, learning from their craft traditions, a unique European cultural heritage.
