Kaunas University of Technology has been cooperating with the Open Air Museum of Lithuania in various projects since 2013.
Joint activities in ongoing projects – Lithuanian-Ukrainian bilateral cooperation in field of science and technologies program project “Unique Technologies of Ethnographic Textile: Experience of Preservation in Western Ukraine and Lithuania (UNIETHNOTEX)“ and ERASMUS+ project „Dress up, Dance and Digitally Dive into Culture (4DCulture)“ – are carried out in the museum.
During the implementation of the projects, exhibitions and dissemination events are organized, during which scientists and the society are introduced to the peculiarities and traditions of ethnographic textiles, national costumes and folk dances in Lithuania and Europe.
