On 14 January, a pilot presentation of the Green VETRINE online course of the international VETRINE project took place, discussing the content of the course, the philosophy behind its development, and answering questions from interested participants.
The presentation was attended by industry representatives from different European countries, teachers and trainers from vocational education and training institutions, Erasmus+ project managers and partners, education and sustainability policy makers.
The project aims to reduce the environmental impact of clothing production through specially designed vocational training modules, educating industry workers and learners about sustainability issues and ways to improve sustainability in the textile and clothing sector.
The material prepared by KTU on the structure of textile materials and production technologies and how they relate to sustainability issues was presented by Prof. Rimvydas Milašius, representative of KTU MIDF in VETRINE project.
